WLC is caught armchair philosophizing…again. Say what you want about Alex Rosenberg, but he definitely makes a great point during his debate with WLC. Too many times we hear theists, usually white males enjoying a life of academia, attempting to exculpate God for the problem of evil from the Ivory Tower. While I don’t doubt that many theists have suffered a great deal during their lives, it strikes me that most have not. The intellectualization of human suffering is one of the things that bothers me the most about Christian Apologetics in particular. It needs to stop, and these so-called philosophers should just stop and start working on better arguments. I applaud Mr. Rosenberg for calling out WLC’s bullshit during his opening in this debate.
